GOT7’s Youngjae Misses DAY6’s Young K On MBC’s “Idol Radio”
GOT7‘s Youngjae has been busy more than ever! He recently released his solo album Colors from Ars. He also has been busy with his acting career this year, having been in the musical Midnight Sun and Korean sitcom So Not Worth It.
Most recently, he guested on MBC‘s Idol Radio which is currently hosted by MONSTA X‘s Joohoney and Hyungwon, both of which make great hosts!
Youngjae himself actually used to be a host on Idol Radio as well alongside DAY6‘s Young K for its first season. Being back, it felt weird to be there without him, he confessed to the current hosts.
Currently, Young K is serving in the KATUSA branch of the Republic Of Korea (ROK) Army for his mandatory enlistment in the South Korean military. He is the first K-Pop idol to be accepted in this highly sought-after, low-acceptance branch.
Youngjae expressed how much he misses “Young D” (DJ Young K) during his Idol Radio visit. He thought about how nice it would have been to do the show together.
I miss Young D. It feels odd being here alone and I feel that it would’ve been better if we were able to appear here together.

Joohoney suggested he use some time on the show as an opportunity to send Young K a greeting. He said, “Leave a message for him!”
Youngjae wished him well in his time serving in the military. He hopes that he is staying healthy and eating well too.

Youngjae certainly missed having Young K there with him. Still, Joohoney and Hyungwon proved to be excellent hosts as they did all they could to make him feel comfortable!
While Youngjae performed his song “Vibin,” the two cheered him on. They even knew the fanchant!
