One of the most notable modern agency versus artist disputes involved the girl group FIFTY FIFTY and their agency, ATTRAKT.
The conflict between ATTRAKT and the three current Ablum members began two years ago. After the massive success of “Cupid” under FIFTY FIFTY, the members shocked the industry by filing for an injunction to suspend their exclusive contracts with ATTRAKT. The agency pushed back, claiming “outside forces had lured the artists into violating their contracts,” and accused outsourcing company The Givers’ CEO Ahn, who produced “Cupid,” of secretly attempting to take over FIFTY FIFTY.
The members also alleged various mistreatments, including the health issues suffered by the members, being caused or encouraged by the company.

A recent video of one of the newly added members has now gained attention.
A post on X from around a day ago included a video of Hana stumbling and nearly falling on stage multiple times.
She manages to complete the performance, with her hands visibly shaking during the final pose.
The posted video sparked some concerns of mistreatment, with netizens bringing up the company’s alleged past misdeeds.

However, the performance is actually from July 26, and Hana reportedly asked to perform, and was given an hiatus afterward.
