Health And Beauty Supplement Brand, Innerflora, Deletes Advertisements Featuring Actress Seo Ye Ji

Will more brands follow suit?

Health and beauty supplement brand, Innerflora, has deleted all advertisements featuring actress Seo Ye Ji. Following her recent controversies, she has since reportedly dropped out of upcoming K-Drama, Island, as well as declined to show up for a press conference to promote her new movie, Recalled.

On April 14, 2021, it was reported that Innerflora had deleted all traces of Seo Ye Ji from their socials and home page. Through her success in It’s Okay Not To Be Okay, Seo Ye Ji’s popularity and recognition soared overnight, placing her front and center of many brands including health products, fashion and jewelry, online games, and more.

However, she’s in danger of having more advertisements taken down. An advertising representative for a fashion brand reported to the media that Seo Ye Ji was chosen for her positive qualities as a model, but the mood had soured within a day.

It was previously reported that Seo Ye Ji not only allegedly controlled her then-boyfriend, Kim Jung Hyun, causing him to act negatively towards staff and actors on the set of his 2018 drama Time, but allegations of abuse and school bullying have also resurfaced.
