Jun Jin postpones solo album release for to prepare for Shinhwa’s comeback

Jun Jin is reported to have postponed his upcoming solo album release for a later date in order to focus on preparing for Shinhwa‘s upcoming album.

According to Korean news site OBS News on November 8th, Jun Jin has decided to postpone his solo album release, and will rejoin Shinhwa to prepare for their upcoming promotions instead.

Previously at a fanmeeting in China in May, Jun Jin announced that he was preparing for his solo album and was planning for a release during the later half of 2014. However, according to multiple stakeholders in the entertainment industry, the date of Jun Jin’s solo comeback is very likely to be pushed back.

Jun Jin’s last work as a solo artist was six years ago, where he released his mini-album Fascination in 2009.

Shinhwa member Shin Hye Sung is also busy with his individual activities, topping the music charts with a recent duet “After Love” with former Fin.K.L member Oak Joo Hyun, and also made a comeback in project group S with Kangta and Lee Ji Hoon. Leader Eric was also busy acting in KBS2 drama Discovery of Love, while Lee Min Woo released his solo 10th anniversary album, and participated as a Dancing Master on Mnet’s Dancing 9 Season 2. Kim Dong Wan is also getting ready for his solo mini concert on November 20th.

Shinhwa is currently putting their best efforts in preparing for their 12th full-length album, aiming for a January 2015 comeback. The group has celebrated their 16th anniversary with a special concert in March earlier this year.

Just last month, Jun Jin was rumored to be dating actress Yoon Jin Yi, although both agencies denied the rumors.
