Actress’s Home Invasion Case Takes A Shocking Turn With Suspect’s Reported Identity

The home invasion case involving actress Kim Gyu Ri has taken a shocking turn after reports revealed that the suspect was allegedly already on trial for stalking another celebrity.

According to a report by MBN, a man in his 40s, referred to as “A,” was actually arrested earlier this year after allegedly attempting to enter TV star Seo Dong Joo’s home as well. At the time, police reportedly requested an arrest warrant for A on charges of trespassing and stalking, as well as a level 4 provisional measure that would have allowed him to be detained in a holding cell. However, the court reportedly rejected the arrest warrant.

After being indicted without detention, A is now accused of committing another crime while still on trial. According to reports, A allegedly broke into actress Kim Gyu Ri’s home in Jongno District, Seoul, at around 9 PM on May 20. Kim Gyu Ri’s home is reportedly located in Bukchon Hanok Village. At the time, A allegedly threatened a woman inside the home and demanded money and valuables.

After the alleged crime, A turned himself in to police around midnight on May 21, approximately three hours later, at his residence in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo District, Seoul. Following a pre-arrest suspect interrogation, the court issued an arrest warrant for A, citing concerns that he may flee.

The case has drawn attention not only because it involves Kim Gyu Ri’s home, but also because the suspect was reportedly already facing trial for allegedly stalking Seo Dong Joo.
