Korean Nurses Show Off The Ice Vests That IU Donated On Social Media

Nurses in Korea are putting them to good use.

In light of the news that IU donated ice vests to medical professionals during the coronavirus pandemic, nurses took to social media to give their full review.

Last month, the Korean Nurses Association revealed that IU donated 4600 sets of ice vests worth 100 million won (~$85,000 USD).

Ice vests are tools that cool off medical professionals who are working out in the sweltering heat.

And on social media, nurses shared photos of the ice vests and even shared their thoughts.

One nurse shared a photo of herself wearing the vest and captioned it,

Thanks to you, I’m very refreshed while working out in the sun.

— Nurse

That’s not all. Another nurse also shared a photo of the ice vest while expressing their gratitude to IU.

Thank you, IU.

Ahead of this general donation, IU made whopping donations totaling 1.25 million dollars USD to various causes including the coronavirus pandemic.

But it’s good to see her most recent donation being put to good use.

What a generous queen.
