One Netizen Claims Alleged Proof That The Latest “Leaked” Photos Of BTS’s V And BLACKPINK’s Jennie Are Edited
One netizen on Twitter has come forward, claiming that there is alleged proof that the latest photo leaks of BTS‘s V and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie are Photoshopped.
In May, V and Jennie were linked after media outlets reported on a photo alleged to be of the two together on Jeju Island, Korea. Yet, netizens quickly debated its authenticity.

Additional alleged photos of V and Jennie have continued to be released by the now infamous user Gurumi Haribo (@gurumiharibo). With more and more photos released, netizens have been increasingly divided about what is real and what is fake.

Twitter user Neon (@Neon86342259) has also attempted to expose Gurumiharibo. Allegedly, Gurumiharibo is making edits for money.

Which leads me to so many questions:
– Is there someone really paying for their edits and is that someone a powerful person, a company ?
– Are they really uploading real pics but are willing to scam people with over thousand of dollars ?

Yet, another user, @vvvaugghn, shared the latest Jennie and V pictures. This time, the “leaked” pictures mainly appeared to be taken from video calls.
Considering how “real” or “original” the pictures seem, fans became concerned that someone had hacked her iCloud storage.

However, one Twitter user @aepinkc has now claimed that these new photos are fake, by resurfacing the alleged “source images.” According to @aepinkc, the first and most controversial photo showing V and Jennie cuddling is, apparently, two photos merged. The user insisted that V’s side profile is from his recent solo vlog while he was driving, and Jennie’s smile is from a fansite’s photo of her taken from a fan meeting.

@aepinkc also speculated that the previous photo of Jennie allegedly taking a photo of V was likely created by merging other photos of Jennie.
One of the other newly released photos by Gurumiharibo showed V lounging at Jennie’s mom’s house with one of her cats. Meanwhile, @aepinkc claimed that a Photoshop cursor in the image “proves” it was edited.

As unclear as the authenticity of the idols’ pictures is, the alleged “proof” about edits remain theoretical as well. In the light of all these speculations, K-Pop fans are disturbed over the lack of response from HYBE and YG Entertainment.
