LOONA Fans’ Boycott Against BlockBerry Creative Shows Signs Of Success — Online Shop Has Been Closed Down

It took three days for people to notice!

In the ongoing legal battle between LOONA‘s members and label BlockBerry Creative, fans of the K-Pop group announced a boycott against the company in support of the members.

The boycott was started on December 8, 2022, with fans of LOONA encouraged not to purchase albums, merchandise, concert tickets, or anything else that would give money to the label. This also included not streaming or playing any of the group’s songs and videos on any platform, as well as other actions that would positively impact BlockBerry Creative. Since the members of LOONA didn’t seem to be getting any money from the label anyway, this boycott shouldn’t have negatively impacted them.

Now, several months into the boycott, there are clear signs that the boycott against BlockBerry Creative is working. It was recently announced that as of April 16, the online shop for the label has been shut down.

Additionally, it took three days for LOONA’s fans to even notice that the shop was down, which shows that no one was actually using it, just as the boycott had planned.

In response to this notice, fans of the group have taken to Reddit to share the news of the online store being closed as a sign that their ongoing boycott was having the intended effect.

On another note, former LOONA member Chuu has just announced her own merchandise, which is absolutely adorable!

As the ongoing legal battle between LOONA’s members and BlockBerry Creative continues, we hope that the girls are able to take care of themselves and end up in a situation that works out for all of them.
