NewJeans Fans Report Popular YouTuber To HYBE After “Bon*r” Reaction Video Resurfaces
Recently, a video of popular YouTuber IShowSpeed reacting to NewJeans‘ hit music video for “Super Shy” has resurfaced. Fans are now reporting the internet celebrity to HYBE LABELS and ADOR Official for “making disgusting movements and reactions in front of the camera.”
IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., reacted to the music video during one of his live streams — which are watched by tens of thousands. The clip was then uploaded by the YouTube channel Anytime Speed with the title “IShowSpeed reacts to New Jeans – Super Shy (GETS BON*R),” and it currently has over 211,000 views.
The video’s title has now been edited with “(GETS BON*R)” having been removed.
In the clip, Watkins starts complimenting the NewJeans’ members’ looks, at which point the viewers inform him of their ages in the chat. Though one of the comments wrongly says member Hyein is “12,” a follow-up comment corrects it by saying she’s actually 15. The YouTuber responds with disbelief at her age but continues to watch the music video nevertheless.
At one point — during a part of the music video where Hyein is smiling at the camera — Watkins starts smashing his desk, which causes his streaming equipment to fall. After pausing the music video, he gets up to fix the equipment but fans are accusing him of getting up to show his sexual arousal.
After sitting down, he continues to watch the music video and bites his lip at other scenes of the clip. After Hyein sings, “And I wanna go out with you, where you wanna go?” IShowSpeed turns the music video off and explains that he “can’t watch” because Hyein “is lying” to him.

Several posts describing Darren Watkins’s behavior as “disgusting” and “weird” have gone viral — with one receiving more than 8,600 likes. NewJeans fans are also sending reports to HYBE about the video, asking the company to “take swift and decisive action against this person and the video.”
