SEVENTEEN’s Jun Spotted Scared For His Life In A Dangerous Mobbing

Things got quite dangerous for the idol.

…and found himself in a dangerous situation when he arrived.

While leaving Korea, Jun was well-guarded—and, though both Korean press and fans were present at the airport, things didn’t get too out of hand.

However, upon arriving in China, Jun was mobbed—to the point one Korean netizen referred it to be “zombie apocalyptic.”

Fans onsite shared photos and videos of the mobbing on Weibo, which then circulated via different social media platforms like X (former Twitter).

With little regard for personal space, fans ran up to Jun to grab photos of the idol—and terrified the idol in the process.

As @svthamster commented, Jun was completely surrounded “despite having 8 bodyguards” with him.

Following the photos and videos, SEVENTEEN and other idol fans criticized the behavior. And as usual, the dangerous situation that put an idol at risk sparked some fierce debate over whether fans (and/or fansites) waiting for/following their biases at the airports should continue to be accepted across the K-Pop culture.
