It’s no secret that Ahn Hyo Seop and SF9’s Rowoon are friends, and they constantly make netizens smile with their interactions. With so much talent and visuals between them, it’s truly a special friendship.

The story of A Time Called You follows a young woman (played by Jeon Yeo Been) who is mourning the death of her boyfriend Gu Yeon Jun (played by Ahn Hyo Seop). She is transported back in time into the body of a high school student, where she meets a someone who looks like her boyfriend.

Episode eight of the K-Drama starts with Ahn Hyo Seop’s character in a class and is then met by Rowoon’s character, Tae-Ha.

As Rowoon’s character falls asleep, Ahn Hyo Seop is seen looking at his friend.

After their class, Ahn Hyo Seop is on the roof, and he seemingly wants to find a way to confess his feelings to his friend.

While Ahn Hyo Seop’s character was trying to find a way to confess, Rowoon’s character seemingly felt the same as he tried to allude to the reason he traveled so far for a cram school.

The scene then jumps to the two on a road trip where Tae Ha wants to practice his driving, where they are chatting and showcasing their friendship.

Yet, things became more serious as they started looking for CDs and their hands touched.

Following the moment they had, Ahn Hyo Seop’s hand reached for Rowoon’s, and the SF9 member’s character seemed unsure of what had happened.

Yet, after Ahn Hyo Seop’s worries, Rowoon’s hand eventually relaxes, and they both offer a smile to each other. It wasn’t hard to assume that the characters had finally allowed their feelings for each other to be public.

Sadly, it wasn’t a happy ending for the characters as they were hit by a car. Yet, while it was short, netizens couldn’t get over the unexpected cameo from Rowoon but also the nature of his role. Although fellow SF9 member Zuho recently starred in the BL Starstruck, it was a first for Rowoon.

Others also pointed to the series Business Management, where Ahn Hyo Seop had a similar BL-vibe scene with ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo.

While the scene was short, the duo’s friendship truly created a special moment in the K-Drama. Korea is still a conservative society, so considering the two top stars wanted to showcase a pure BL relationship, it was unexpected but appreciated by fans.
