"Single's Inferno 3" Star Choi Hye Seon To Take Social Media Break

Single’s Inferno 3 fan-favorite Choi Hye Seon has seemingly announced a social media hiatus.

Hye Seon made history, becoming the first contestant to hit 1M followers on Instagram. Her bubbly personality, brains, and beauty captured viewers’ hearts worldwide.

Hye Seon has also become increasingly active on social media, interacting with her fellow contestants and followers. In a now-edited post, she asked her fans to submit questions for an upcoming Q&A video, and she even replied to some at the time.

Based on her social media activity, including some deleted posts, netizens have attempted to speculate about her relationship status with co-stars Lee Gwan Hee and Son Won Ik.

There is more evidence to believe that Gwan Hee and Hye Seon are still together after the show’s finale. Yet, Won Ik and Hye Seon released a YouTube video together, reacting to Single’s Inferno 3 scenes, and showcased their chemistry. The two revealed they had many interactions and a lengthy dinner date that was deleted from the show’s final cut.

During Single’s Inferno 3, their fellow contestants, Park Min Kyu and Yun Ha Bin, had made Gwan Hee jealous, suggesting Hye Seon liked Won Ik, much to viewers’ and panelists’ shock at the time. Yet, this YouTube video made fans realize Ha Bin and Min Kyu were not “fake news peddlers” as we thought.

Shortly after, Choi Hye Seon posted a selfie of herself with Won Ik via Instagram. She added a caption, “Best friends with same vibes,” confirming they’re just friends. It seemed to fans that she must have gotten overwhelmed by all the speculation surrounding her relationships.

Choi Hye Seon has now indicated she will take a social media break.

Hye Seon recently read a fan’s comment encouraging her not to feel obligated to give netizens answers regarding her personal life. Shortly after, Hye Seon liked the comment and replied, thanking the fan. In her response, she added, “Guess I’ll take some time off the internet and I’ll be more fine.”
