SM Entertainment has just announced their first SMTOWN Live family concert in over 18 months, and fitting with the times, it will be a free online concert to ring in the new year.

The full lineup for the concert includes Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon, SHINee‘s Taemin, EXO‘s Baekhyun and Kai, Red Velvet, NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, SuperM, aespa, Raiden, GINJO, and IMLAY.
In addition, the show has been designed as a special performance made to comfort and convey hope to people around the world who are having a difficult time due to the Coronavirus in the new year.
The concert will also include AR technology, which is a signature staple within SM Entertainment’s recent online concerts. Many fans are excited for the free concert, especially Red Velvet fans, who are expecting Wendy’s first performance with the group since her accident during the recording for 2019 SBS Gayo Daejun.
