Song Joong Ki’s Agency Further Addresses Reports Of The Actor Auditioning For A British Drama Due To His Girlfriend’s Influence
Recently, reports that actor Song Joong Ki auditioned for a role in a BBC drama garnered much attention from global media outlets. According to his agency Hi Zium Studio, they told media outlet Star Today, “Song Joong Ki did not audition for the British network BBC but rather had a meeting with an official.”
Previously, media outlets posted that Song Joong Ki reportedly auditioned for a British drama due to influence from his British girlfriend after finishing filming for the 2021 tvN K-Drama, Vincenzo.
Song Joong Ki recently confirmed he was in a relationship, and his girlfriend’s identity became a hot topic globally. Regarding the initial media reports, his agency previously commented that they would make a statement after checking the facts.
Along with news of his relationship, rumors that Katy Louise Saunders was his Italian teacher while filming for Vincenzo, as well as rumors of pregnancy and marriage have continued to pop up online. Regarding this, his agency stated, “We ask for your understanding that we cannot confirm any information other than the fact that they are dating. We would appreciate it if everyone would refrain from unconfirmed and speculative reports.” On the other hand, Song Joong Ki recently appeared in the popular JTBC K-Drama, Reborn Rich.
