South Korea Captain Son Heung Min Updates His Status On Playing In FIFA World Cup
South Korea Captain Song Heung Min is currently recovering from facial surgery and confirmed he will play in the upcoming FIFA World Cup with a protective mask.
The Tottenham Hotspur forward thanked his fans for their support in an English message posted on his Instagram account.

The fans have been cheering him on throughout his injury sustained after colliding with an opponent during a UEFA Champions League match on November 1. Son had to undergo surgery for four fractures in his left eye socket last November 4.
Son will now prepare for South Korea’s first Group H match against Uruguay scheduled for November 24 in Qatar. Son is the reigning Premier League Golden Boot winner, and leads all active South Korean internationals with thirty-five goals in 104 matches
South Korea Head Coach Paulo Bento will be announcing his 26-man World Cup squad.
After Uruguay, South Korea will be pitted against Ghana on November 28 and Portugal on December 2.
