4 People Stabbed In Random Knife Attack At Sillim Station In Seoul, South Korea
4 people were stabbed at Gwanak-gu, Seoul, South Korea, on July 21, 2023. The incident happened in broad daylight, around 2pm that day.
The fight took place at the 4th exit of Sillim Station. The area is known for being an area where many young people live, due to low living costs and its proximity to Seoul National University.
One of the injured passed on, while the other three experienced bodily injury. The police received a tip-off around 2.20pm that day, with a witness claiming that someone had stabbed people and ran away. According to witnesses, he had been roaming in the area before running at random people with his weapon.
The arrested perpetrator is a man in his 30s. It was later found out that he already had three priors. Before that, he had also been involved in 14 cases as a minor. He is currently detained with the Gwanak-gu police.
