Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan has always gone out of his way to show his fans how much they mean to him. He does weekly live broadcasts, Chan’s Room, to ensure he has time to talk with fans.

On Valentine’s Day, Bang Chan even went viral for inviting his fans on a date and asking them what he should wear.

Fans reciprocated the idol’s romantic energy and made their own plans for the date, which mostly included a lot of good desserts.

The special episode of Chan’s Room truly showed Bang Chan’s consideration as he paid special attention to filters and music for the broadcast.

And even brought chocolates and a gold rose for his fans.

Now the idol is once again going viral for taking his fans on a date as Bang Chan set up a time for him and his fans to all watch a movie together.

For the date, Bang Chan chose the Japanese animated film Weathering With You.

And were delighted by the movie, enjoying the emotional story.

Even if Bang Chan’s unexpected comment about his outfit, or lack thereof, flustered them before the movie started.

Perhaps the most unexpected part of the date was that STAY actually felt like they were all on a date together as they trended the hashtag #weatheringwithchan so they could talk to each other live about the movie.

Some fans even suspected Bang Chan would find the hashtag and watch STAYs’ reactions.

This seems entirely plausible as Bang Chan updated his Bubble status to “Weathering With STAY,” proving that he likely saw the hashtag.

Fans were incredibly grateful for Bang Chan’s kindness in creating another meaningful memory with them.
