During the recent episode, both Redlic and Latrice sustained different injuries. When the duo came back from the hospital, Latrice shocked her fellow teammates after revealing that she had met Redlic when she was there.
Amidst the shared injuries, as Redlic explained that they were at the hospital together, Latrice seemingly shut down the “beef” they had throughout the series, explaining, “I think we’re actually soulmates, not rivals.”
Just for added drama, Mnet knew exactly what to do when they showed Latrice and Redlic on hospital stretchers and holding hands.
With a huge change in the dynamic between the two, the final moment that cemented a new relationship between the two dancers was the hug after their performance.
Of course, when the episode aired, clips started circulating on social media, particularly on TikTok. While some fans pointed out that this was another example of Mnet’s evil editing and manipulation…
Others joked that they were seemingly watching a K-Drama unfold with the classic “Enemies to lovers” trope unfold in front of their eyes.
Yet, not everyone was impressed when the videos were shared online. In particular, one fan shared that it seemed hard for Mnet to suddenly show a different side to Redlic and expect fans to forget everything that has happened in previous episodes, especially considering the nature of the criticism she received.
While it’s not surprising that some netizens are finding it hard to move on after everything Redlic has done, many acknowledge the editing skills of Mnet. Considering both Latrice and Redlic follow each other on social media, it seems like a lot of it could’ve been caused by the editing or whatever happened has been sorted.
