Super Junior Officially Renew Contracts With SM Entertainment

Some members will also promote separately from SM Entertainment.

Super Junior has officially renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment.

In a press release from SM Entertainment to various media outlets, including Newsen, SM Entertainment shared that Super Junior has completed contract renewals with the company. Since debuting in 2005, Super Junior and SM Entertainment will continue their partnership as Super Junior reached their 18 year anniversary this year. Super Junior also became the first SM Entertainment group to release 11 full albums in 2022 when they released The Road.

In a separate statement to Yonhap, SM Entertainment stated that Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, and Donghae will not renew their contracts with SM Entertainment.

Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, and Donghae will not renew their contracts with us and will instead pursue individual activities.

The press release stated Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, and Donghae will be continuing to promote with Super Junior while also partaking in their individual activities separately from SM Entertainment. Both SM Entertainment and the members will continue to work together to allow a mix of group, unit, and solo activities.
