Top Actress Reveals How Her Staff Ended Up Marrying Her Brother
Actress Go So Young has revealed a surprising family connection, sharing how one of her former staff members eventually became her sister-in-law.
On a recent episode uploaded to her YouTube channel, Go So Young introduced her sister-in-law for the first time and shared the unexpected story behind their relationship. The actress began by describing herself as a “sister-in-law she likes a lot” before revealing that the two were connected long before the marriage.
“We had a connection even before she became my sister-in-law. It really feels like fate.”
According to Go So Young, her older brother had studied in Japan when he was younger, while her future sister-in-law had also spent time studying there.
The woman in question turned out to be celebrity nail artist Kwon Sung Hee.
“Back then, he was just an older guy I knew in Japan. I didn’t even know he was Go So Young’s brother.”
What made the story even more surprising was Go So Young’s revelation that Kwon Sung Hee later ended up working as part of her staff. The actress then confessed that the couple initially hid their relationship from her. She recalled accidentally discovering clues while looking through her brother’s phone.
“One day I saw a photo of a woman holding a cat. Her nails were long and flashy. I thought he was just dating some play girl.”
Go So Young admitted that she initially worried her brother was dating someone very different from what she had expected. Her brother soon revealed the truth and confessed that he was dating someone she knew. Go revealed that she ultimately became one of the biggest supporters of the relationship.
“I pushed them so hard that they ended up getting married.”
During the video, Kwon also revealed some of the celebrities she has worked with as a nail artist over the years. She shared that former Jewelry member Seo In Young is one of her longtime clients and also mentioned working with stars such as Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon, Han Hyo Joo, Song Hye Kyo, Park Min Young, and IU.
