Viral American Livestreamer Draws Huge Crowds On South Korean Streets
Popular but controversial American YouTuber IShowSpeed (also known as Speed or his real name Darren Watkins Jr.) is attracting attention during his South Korea trip.
Speed is well-known for his “rambunctious” behavior. Yet, his recent collaboration with the K-pop girl group KISS OF LIFE was not well-received by fans. This is partly due to his comments about NewJeans in a now-deleted reaction video.

Still, Speed has a massive following worldwide, boasting over 23.5M subscribers on YouTube. A couple of days ago, he held a live broadcast at LotteWorld, followed by many people.

Whenever he steps foot outside, he attracts a crowd. Whether during the day or at night, Speed gets mobbed. During his recent nighttime live broadcast, well over 1,000 people went to see him.
