X1 Fans Mourn What Could Have Been With The Release Of Never-Before-Seen Photo
It’s hard to believe that it’s been three and a half years since X1 disbanded, and yet it was in January 2020 that the members of group were forced to part ways far too soon. And even though it’s been over three years, fans of the group certainly still exist, and many people are still upset about the disbandment caused by a rigged voting scandal that the members themselves had nothing to do with.
While most of the members have gone on to have solo debuts or debut in different groups, it’s a common belief among fans that X1 would have been one of the biggest boy groups of the fourth generation. Since the groups that some of the members went on to join have not been particularly successful, many are understandably bitter that the talented idols haven’t been able to live up to their full potential.
All of these bittersweet memories and more have resurfaced once again thanks to a new photo of X1 that has been shared online.
The photo shows all 11 former members of the K-Pop group on the now-ended entertainment news show Section TV. They all look happy to be together on what is assumed to be a show that never was able to air due to the group’s disbandment.
The photo was shared on an online forum, where fans are sharing emotional reactions to seeing all of the members together in a rare new piece of media of X1.

- “Wow…”
- “I guess they had filmed Section TVㅠ”
- “They did so much but got to show none of it, I’m crying….”
- “Wow.. They filmed but couldn’t be broadcast?ㅠㅠ”
- “Yeah… They couldn’t be broadcast at all on the public broadcasts, not even their songs…”
- “I’m just crying”
- “They’re pretty”
International fans have a lot of feelings and opinions too, similar to what Korean fans are saying.
X1 may no longer exist, but it’s certainly not forgotten. Maybe someday we’ll get to see a reunion of all of the former members together, but for now, fans are taking every little bit of new content that they can.
