One Of BTS Jin's Favorite Places On Earth Is In South America — Another Win For Fans There

Fans around the world are currently prepping for BTS Jin‘s first performance of “The Astronaut,” his first solo single, which will take place at Coldplay‘s concert in Argentina.

The “Borahaefication” of ArJINtina had already begun prior to his arrival, from the airport changing to display purple lights to Argentinian ARMYs raising funds to light up the national historic monument and icon of Buenos Aires, The Obelisco de Buenos Aires.

Argentina and its people have been showing plenty of love for Jin, and Jin has returned that love already in a way that showed off his true personality.

Fans are rightfully excited about this seemingly unexpected performance. It should not be a surprise because this is not the first time a place in South America has gotten love directly from Jin.

Earlier this year, in a special collaboration with Google, BTS X Street Galleries, the members of BTS each shared a location and artworks that have significant value to them. These locations from around the world gave special insight into each of the members’ inner thoughts.

Jin‘s chosen location was The Allianz Parque in Saõ Paulo, Brazil where BTS performed during their 2019 BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour.

Jin says this location is one of BTS’s favorites and that they love the positive energy. Whenever he’s “feeling a little low,” he “just thinks of Saõ Paulo“!

The other members also picked several other locations around the world, showing that they love their fans from all over, but many loved the special shout-out that Jin gave fans living there.
