Popular K-Drama Business Proposal actor Kim Min Gue recently shot a pictorial for the May edition of ELLE KOREA Magazine.

But aside from simply the pictorial, Kim Min Gue also sat down for an interview with ELLE KOREA‘s official YouTube channel, where he answered fans’ questions about everything love-related.

Kim Min Gue also gave his opinion on the infamous “Perilla Leaf” debate (also called the sesame leaf debate).
The debate is essentially about whether or not it is appropriate for your significant other to help someone else by separating perilla leaves, which often get stuck together.
The issue has been widely debated, with idols like Red Velvet‘s Seulgi and Joy, BTS‘s Jungkook, and EXO all weighing in with their opinions.
Although Kim Min Gue needed a second to come up with his answer…
He quickly answered that seeing the perilla leaves get stuck together would frustrate him.
Not because of the possibility of his partner helping a friend, but because he would be waiting to eat a perilla leaf himself.
So rather than having to wait longer to eat as he watched his friend struggle…
Kim Min Gue would rather just help the friend out.
Arguing that there’s nothing wrong with helping a friend, especially when they’re struggling.
