Chuu Exposes Herself As The Biggest Anime Fan In Her Latest Vlog
Chuu‘s first 2023 vlog was filled with memorable moments, including an unexpected wholesome fan encounter and the singer treating her entire staff to some delicious bungeoppang (a Korean fish-shaped bread filled with sweet red bean paste)!
Chuu also took the time to take a break from her busy schedule and relax in a cafe filled with comics. She then exposed herself as the biggest anime fan since she had read so many different mangas!
Choi Yena, who previously collaborated with Chuu, (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi, Oh My Girl‘s Arin, and Weki Meki‘s Choi Yoo Jung for a special stage at the 2022 MBC Gayo Daejejeon Music Festival, recommended the hugely popular Jujutsu Kaisen to her, but sadly she lost interest.
The manga that Chuu ended up picking up and resuming was Demon Slayer! She was so into the story that she couldn’t put the book down while eating!
She also reminisced about reading Sugar Sugar Rune with her mother growing up, showing that her love for anime started long before she became an idol.
Chuu was also familiar with titles like Detective Conan (also known as Case Closed), Tokyo Ghoul, My Hero Academia, and Spy × Family, showing that she’s genuinely addicted to the genre.
