How “Hating” Physics Class Helped ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo Join Fantagio
ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo officially made his solo debut on February 15 with his first solo mini-album, ENTITY, and to celebrate the release, he appeared on 1theK’s original series, IDDP.
During the video, the ASTRO member responded to fan-submitted information about himself on the web and reacted to trending posts, fans’ stories about him, his official profile information, and even scrolled through posts on popular online community boards such as TheQoo and Instiz.
He also addressed the story of how he joined Fantagio and, subsequently, ASTRO, thanks to the help of his physics teacher.
Cha Eunwoo read the story, reviewed it for accuracy, and confirmed that he had a physics academy class scheduled on the day of his audition for Fantagio.
As the fan-submitted story stated, Cha Eunwoo had considered skipping the audition to attend the physics class, but his physics professor intervened and offered to reschedule the class time so he could go.
Cha Eunwoo admitted that he had hated physics, so though he was a diligent and hardworking student, he was more amenable to the idea of having the class time rescheduled for an audition than he may have been for other subjects.
The IDDP staff hilariously responded by telling Cha Eunwoo it would have been a “disaster” had it been a subject he enjoyed, as he may not have gone to the audition after all.
