Kim Heechul’s Old Text Message With Sulli Resurfaces, Proving Just How Important They Were To Each Other

Kim Heechul was a true friend and brother.

Super Junior‘s Kim Heechul and Sulli are well known to be close friends and colleagues. With Sulli’s recent passing, an old text message exchange between the two friends resurfaced.

The text messages were from March 16, 2016. Sulli uploaded a screenshot of their exchange to her Instagram 4 years ago.

In their conversation, Heechul (nicknamed “Heebrother” on her phone) thinks of Sulli while eating alone and invites her to come with him next time.

Heechul: “Baby, do you like spicy food?”

Sulli: “I love them😍😍😍😍😍”

Heechul: “I really.. I’m at a crazy spicy hotdog restaurant right now, right?? I came to eat by myself again.. Let’s go together next time. I really sigh.. It’s so spicy”

Sulli: “ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ You ate a spicy hotdog in the middle of the night by yourself?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I guess they open late? ㅋㅋㅋLet’s go let’s go”

Heechul: “Yeah let’s go. I ate by myself like an outcast..ㅠㅠ”

 

As the conversation resurfaced, netizens and fans showered Kim Heechul with praise as the best older brother to Sulli.

“Kim Heechul’s so kind.. You can tell he didn’t treat her like a woman? someone he’s attracted to? but just a true younger sister that he took care of”

Kim Heechul has seen Sulli grow ever since she joined SM Entertainment, and he was one of her biggest sources of support as he continuously took her side in whatever decision she made in her life.

After Sulli’s passing, Kim Heechul took care of her cat until he was adopted by actress Kim Sun Ah.

Kim Heechul is busy with his hectic schedule, but hopefully Sulli protecting him and his health from up above.
