Kwon Eun Bi Opens Up About How She Feels Promoting Solo Vs. With IZ*ONE
Soloist Kwon Eun Bi recently made her comeback with her new mini-album, Lethality. During her promotions, she was a guest on Jonathan Thona‘s TheKstarNextDoor, where she opened up about her former fellow IZ*ONE members and how she felt promoting solo.
It’s been over a year since IZ*ONE disbanded at the end of their contract. However, the group is still fondly on fans’ minds, especially this October, as multiple former members promoted their music simultaneously.
On the same day as Kwon Eun Bi’s comeback, former IZ*ONE member Lee Chaeyeon made her long-awaited solo debut, and former IZ*ONE members Chaewon and Sakura made their first comeback with their new group LE SSERAFIM just days later.

While on TheKstarNextDoor, Kwon Eun Bi reflected on her time as the leader of IZ*ONE, sharing that LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon and IVE‘s Yujin, now leaders of their respective groups, both called Kwon Eun Bi to share they understood how she felt as the leader of IZ*ONE.
When her former group members come to her to share their thoughts about promotions or about being leaders, she feels proud.
During Kwon Eun Bi’s last promotions for the song “Glitch” in April, she promoted at the same time as IVE, who released their second single, “Love Dive,” on April 5.
Since they were promoting at the same time, Kwon Eun Bi was able to reunite with IVE’s Wonyoung and Yujin, both former IZ*ONE members.
Being a soloist after previously leading a 12-member group, she noticed the difference as she shared a green room with IVE at a music show.
She shared that IVE, being a group, filled the room with noise and realized she felt lonely despite not being the only one in the room.
She also noticed how much had changed, with Yujin now being the second oldest member of IVE and Wonyoung no longer being the maknae of a group.
Seeing them together, she felt they had grown up so much and were more like “big sisters.”
Luckily, she has her former members to cheer her on and support her, even if she promotes solo!
