MAMAMOO’s Solar Reviewed Snacks While On Vacation So You Know What You DON’T Have To Try In America
MAMAMOO‘s Solar vacationed in Hawai`i back in February, and in addition to getting a tattoo and participating in the cultures of the islands, she also took the opportunity to indulge in American snack foods.
While in Hawai`i, Solar went to Wal-Mart to purchase snacks that aren’t available for sale in Korea. Unfortunately, though, it doesn’t appear that Solar purchased any snacks that are unique to Hawai`i.
Solar shared that she enjoys eating sweet snacks and that she tried to buy things that are ~ limited edition ~.
The snacks she purchased for herself to try were pretzel Nutella…
… Reese’s dipped pretzels…
… dipping snacks…
… Oreo thins pistachio…
… Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips, which despite its name, is actually owned by a company based out of Pennsylvania!
Solar also bought Rold Gold pretzels braided…
… Bio Salud fresca strawberry flavor…
… Oreo carrot cake…
….and Winter mint Ding Dongs…, among other things.
After trying all of them in what she called a “muk-review” style video, Solar’s most favorable reactions were toward the pretzel Nutella and Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips.
The funniest part about Solar having such a positive reaction to the Hawaiian Kettle Style chips is that she said she doesn’t really like potato chips! One of the reasons she enjoyed it was it’s savory and sweet flavor. The sweetness comes from the Maui onion, which is grown on the island of Maui and has a sweet and mild flavor due to the soil they’re grown in.
You’ll have to watch Solar’s vlog below to fully experience her “muk-review” video, as well as to catch the bonus scenes at the end!
