News outlet Dispatch is famous exposing previously unknown relationships of Korean celebrities almost every New Year’s Day. Here are the “New Year Couples” revealed since 2010.
1. 2010: Yoo Hae Jin and Kim Hye Soo
Yoo Hae Jin and Kim Hye Soo made history as Dispatch’s first New Year’s Day couple of the decade. Unfortunately, their romance was short-lived. Yoo Hae Jin and Kim Hye Soo broke up one year later, in 2011.
2. 2013: Rain and Kim Tae Hee
No New Year’s couples were revealed by Dispatch in 2011 and 2012, but the tradition continued in 2013 with Rain and Kim Tae Hee. Many years have passed, but this couple (now married with two children) is still going strong!
3. 2014: Yoona (Girls’ Generation) and Lee Seung Gi
One of the most beloved idol couples of all time was revealed on January 1, 2014. For years, Lee Seung Gi told the whole world that Yoona was his ideal type. Fans were thrilled when this dream couple became reality and enjoyed the romance while it lasted. The couple parted ways in July 2015.
4. 2015: Lee Jung Jae and Im Sae Ryung
Dispatch revealed the relationship between actor Lee Jung Jae and the daughter of Daesang Group’s president, Im Sae Ryung, on January 1, 2015. The two are still together to this day,
