1. Jeon Somi

With solo artist Jeon Somi’s many famous friends, netizens have long speculated whether or not she was dating any of them. This year, Somi has kissed both HyunA and TWICE‘s Jihyo. This provoked some fans to question whether they were “just friends.” Yet, dating rumors surrounding Somi and SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu began after she posted a photo of his back following her album listening party.

Now, Somi has finally put the rumors to rest.

Somi ate a meal of pasta in a new live broadcast and read viewers’ comments. One asked her if she was dating, to which she laughed and honestly answered the question. She explained that if she were dating anyone, she would not have been alone, “eating undercooked pasta.”

2. BTS’s RM

ARMYs have often joked about how RM might be secretly married with kids. Yet, previously, he has claimed to be “too busy” to date during interviews when asked about his personal relationships.

However, RM finally addressed his current relationship status during a recent Weverse Live at home. He said he doesn’t have a girlfriend but would like one.

3. BTS’s Jungkook

BTS’s maknae also addressed his current relationship during a Stationhead listening party for his new single “3D (feat. Jack Harlow).”

Jungkook was recently the subject of dating rumors following the song’s release, as alleged videos of him with a woman in his apartment surfaced online. While ARMYs questioned their authenticity, he was still asked about his relationship during a listening party for his new single. He clarified that he is only focused on work currently, and he has no significant other, nor is he dating.

4. (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua

During an episode of Workman (also known as Workdol), she asked a couple how old they were when they married. Naturally, Shuhua’s own relationship status came up, and she casually revealed that she had been single since birth!

5. HyunA

HyunA and Somi chatted about everything, including flirting and dating, on Yes Or Hot. Early in the episode, Somi asked HyunA if she would appear on the popular Korean reality dating show EXchange (also known as Transit Love). For context, in the program, five pairs of exes live together, and as they get to know each other, they can rekindle their past romance or start something new with another contestant. HyunA was previously in a public relationship with DAWN until they amicably split in 2022.

HyunA was also asked if she would like to be in a relationship again. She boldly replied, “Yes!” 

HyunA: It’s been so long. Around 8 years?

Jeon Somi: Do you want to be in a relationship?

HyunA: Yes!

Jeon Somi: In that case, people should go to your Instagram. “You’re so pretty.” “Can I text you?” “I sent you a DM. Please check.”

HyunA: For real.

While guesting on YouTube channel Korean Englishman, BamBam touched on the stigma surrounding idols’ dating.

Still, BamBam would be honest if he were in a relationship and communicate with fans. BamBam said his current dilemma is that he really doesn’t have someone in his life.
