All 12 members of LOONA have won their lawsuits against BlockBerry Creative.
According to an exclusive report from Seoul Kyungjae, the Seoul High Court’s civil affairs department ruled in favor of the remaining five members of LOONA who had ongoing lawsuits against BlockBerry Creative: Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Olivia Hye, and Go Won. As a result, their contracts with BlockBerry Creative will be suspended, and the five can start anew with a different agency.
The court decided, based on the fact that they believed there was an issue with transferring the members’ contracts to Universal Japan. The transfer was made without the written consent of the members involved in the lawsuit.
This decision from the court means that all 12 members have won their lawsuits against BlockBerry Creative. Hyunjin and ViVi won back in May 2023. Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry won in January 2023. Chuu was removed from LOONA in November 2022 and has since been promoting on her own with a new agency.
