Ahgases Speculate Upcoming Comeback From GOT7’s Mark Tuan After Mysterious Instagram Updates

We might finally be getting a Mark Tuan solo album!

Mark Tuan has now officially announced his solo comeback.

The members of GOT7 have been very busy since their collective departure from JYP Entertainment and signing to new companies.

While they have assured us that GOT7 has not disbanded, everyone has taken time to focus on individual endeavors. Leader Jay B recently released his 1st EP SOMO:FUME, and Youngjae also released his first mini-album Colors from Ars.

Earlier this year, Yugyeom and BamBam both released their first solo albums, Point of View: U and riBBon, respectively. In addition to music, Youngjae has been acting on stage in Midnight Sun and on the screen in So Not Worth It.

Jinyoung has also been busy with an acting career, appearing in The Devil Judge and Yumi’s Cells. Jackson Wang, of course, has been especially busy as he runs TEAM WANG, including both its music side and fashion side. He has released quite a bit of music already this year, including not just solo but with PANTHEPACK.

Mark Tuan, too, has been busy. After moving back to Los Angeles, California, we’ve seen him become increasingly active online with Twitch streams and Instagram Lives. He has also done quite a bit of traveling, attending 2021 Paris Fashion Week.

In regards to music, he released “One in a Million” with Sanjoy in February. Most recently, he had a song on Marvel Studios‘ first Asian-lead superhero film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings soundtrack with BIBI. He also completely stole the show at the film’s premiere.

As for a solo album, he recently told South China Morning Post that he was still working on it. Now, fans are wondering if it is coming up sooner than they imagined.

I think everything sounds pretty solid. I enjoy listening to my songs, but I know it’s not 100 per cent perfect yet. Still working on it.

Mark has made some mysterious updates to his Instagram that surprised fans. Not only did he change his profile picture to solid black, but he deleted or archived all of his posts so that nothing was left to the feed. This, unfortunately, includes recent posts for both 2021 Paris Fashion Week and the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings premiere.

While it was a surprising update, it wouldn’t be the first time an artist has done such a thing. This is especially common for artists if they are trying to rebrand themselves or have a clean feed ahead of a comeback.

That was not the only update from Mark, however. He also posted a cryptic message to his Instagram Stories.

These updates to his account initially shocked Ahgases and left them concerned.

Still, many remained positive and leaned more towards the possibility that he is preparing for his solo comeback.

Three days later, Mark made his first since removing all original posts from his Instagram. This time, he confirmed all suspicions of a comeback as he posted a teaser image for his upcoming single “Last Breath,” set to be released on November 12.

Wishing you the best always in your endeavors, Mark! We can’t wait to hear the new music.
