BTS‘s J-Hope recently shared a “photo dump” on Instagram, showing everything that he’s been up to lately. From eating delicious food to taking handsome selfies, he made sure to catch fans up on what his life is like recently.

It didn’t take long for observant fans to notice a unique and charming detail in his selfie that you might not see upon first glance.

When taking a closer look, J-Hope is rocking a bracelet with an adorable cat charm on it. However, it’s not just because he loves animals! The true meaning goes much deeper than simply being just a cool accessory.

ARMY discovered the bracelet is from the Korean jewelry brand SUEL. The Kitty String Bracelet is available for 335,000 KRW (approx. $237 USD) and states that a part of the proceeds will go towards helping abandoned dogs and cats.

This bracelet features a cat pendant in 14K gold attached to a slender, adjustable cord. It’s handmade by artisans at SUEL.

Knowing his influence that causes many products to sell out, J-Hope’s choice to wear the bracelet shows he hopes to support the cause even further with his largescale platform. Previously, he has spread awareness for helping abandoned animals many times, including using the app Paw In Hand where abandoned animals can find new homes, spreading videos on social media that support the cause, and even rescuing his own dog Mickey when his family found the young pup at a gas station.
