BTS’s Jungkook Achieves A Significant Milestone As A Soloist That Has Been Untouched Since 1998

Even the likes of Shakira and Pitbull didn’t have this achievement!

BTS‘s Jungkook flew to Qatar for his performance at the FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony a week ago. So far, fans have been busy guessing what type of performance the BTS maknae will be giving at the event since he is a part of a star-studded lineup that is slated to perform at the same event.

On November 19, KST, Big Hit Music finally revealed Jungkook will perform a solo song at the opening ceremony. He will take the stage to sing “Dreamers,” the official soundtrack of FIFA World Cup 2022, at the Al Bayt Stadium in Doha. The song will be released tomorrow, November 20, at 2 PM KST. Jungkook was also revealed to have shot the music video for “Dreamers” in Qatar.

With “Dreamers,” Jungkook has now become the first Asian and Korean soloist to have an official World Cup soundtrack. He is also the first artist in history to have a solo official World Cup soundtrack since Ricky Martin in 1998.

ARMYs are obviously proud of this achievement and many recalled how far Jungkook and BTS have come in their careers.

BTS were not lying when they said their best is yet to come!

Following the publication of this article, it was announced that “Dreamers” will feature Qatari artist Fahad Al Kubaisi along with Jungkook.
