GOT7’s Jackson Wang Shares Cryptic Social Media Posts, Concerning Fans

Ahgases are sending him encouraging messages.

Fans of GOT7‘s Jackson Wang are expressing their concern for him after he posts cryptic messages on social media.

GOT7’s Jackson Wang

On February 4 morning CST, Jackson tweeted, “I just need to be better. Better and better.”

This alone caused some fans concern. Still, knowing Jackson’s work ethic and drive, it was not out of the norm for him to speak like this.

You know why? Because I’m not the best. I’m still working my a*s off to become the best, to become someone there, you know.

— Jackson Wang, speaking to 99.7 NOW

Yet, a couple of hours later, Jackson then posted on Instagram. This time, it was just a solid black image shared on Instagram Stories.

Some fans suggest that maybe he’s teasing his upcoming song. Last year, fellow GOT7 member Mark Tuan made some mysterious Instagram updates leading up to the announcement of “Last Breath.”

Naturally, more fans than not are concerned after these back-to-back posts. As a result, Ahgases (GOT7 fans) and Jackys (Jackson Wang fans) are reaching out to Jackson with words of encouragement.

Many are sending heartfelt messages, empathizing with his struggles. They hope to encourage him whatever he’s going through right now.

Not only are his fans responding directly to his posts, but they are also posting various messages for him to Twitter with phrases such as “WE LOVE YOU JACKSON,” reassuring him that he’s not alone.

Collectively, the fandom has been trending “WE LOVE YOU JACKSON” and “P’Jack” (one of his nicknames) along with his official hashtags “#JacksonWang” and “#TEAMWANG.” As of the time of writing, “WE LOVE YOU JACKSON” has 21.8K Tweets.

Recently, Jackson shared that he would be releasing at least two albums this year, mainly focusing on music. In the past, he has worked hard with GOT7, both his own music and fashion labels, TEAM WANG, etc.

However, he confessed last year that he “pushes himself.” He seldom takes a vacation. In an interview with 99.7 NOW, he explained that he still sees lots of room for self-improvement.

I know I’m so far from the best or even like so far from anything. You know, I’m trying my best … I’m pushing myself. If I don’t die, then I can do it. …This is my mindset…

— Jackson Wang

While we admire Jackson’s ambition and humbleness, we also hope that Jackson will practice self-care and love himself as much as we all love him right now, just the way he is. For Ahgases and Jackys, he doesn’t need to be “better;” he’s already the best.

Jackson has shared another post since the article was first published.

On February 5, around 2 AM CST, Jackson posted a new Instagram Stories update. It’s a black-and-white photo that seems to imply he’s working on new music.
