They will not continue with the competition.

Lee Chaeyeon and LABOUM‘s Haein have reportedly decided to drop out of Mnet‘s upcoming survival show Queendom Puzzle.

According to an exclusive report from Hankyung, both Lee Chaeyeon and Haein have recently decided not to continue with Queendom Puzzle. Both idols have already participated in the first recording session, so Mnet has agreed that they will keep the two in the broadcast instead of editing them out.

Mnet has also reportedly decided not to cast two idols to replace Lee Chaeyeon and Haein, so the competition will begin with 26 contestants, not 28 as initially planned.

Mnet has partially confirmed Hankyung’s report with their statement to Star News.

Lee Chaeyeon and Haein have dropped out of our new variety program Queendom Puzzle for personal reasons.

There needs to be a decision made regarding casting additional members to replace them.
