An ARMY’s Dad Lived Out His Daughter’s Y/N Dreams With BTS’s Jungkook
BTS has millions of fans around the globe, but sometimes it seems like non-ARMYs are more likely to meet the group!
Sometimes those lucky non-fans are none other than ARMYs’ parents, who happened to be in the right place at the right time.
Who can forget that fan who ditched a wedding to stay home and watch Run BTS? Little did she know that the wedding was for BTS’s manager Hobeom–and all seven members were in attendance.

While she was watching BTS through a screen, her mom was watching them sing “DNA” in person!
It came to my attention this morning that parts of ARMY don’t know that @BTS_twt have been wedding singers…
Specially, in July 2018, they performed DNA at Manager Hobeom’s wedding🥺💜

Or how about that dad who went viral for making a cameo in BTS’s Las Vegas photoshoot? He’s now immortalized in this photo!
Now another ARMY is sharing her story on Twitter and TikTok. According to Shey (@i4sheyyy), her dad chauffeured Jungkook while he was in Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
“He picked him up from his hotel together with his manager,” Shey tweeted. “My dad wasn’t aware that he was with a global superstar, so they just had a casual conversation. I’m sobbing.”
Shey’s dad sent her a voice message, asking her if she knows who Jungkook is. He described the down-to-earth star as friendly and, “humble.”
I immediately called my dad to explain to me what happened that day. My dad said JK was very humble and JK was the one who greeted him first by casually saying "hey bro". If I had only replied that day, I might have had a video greeting from the one and only Jungkook!!!
