Chuu Gets Emotional About Her Love For LOONA In A Resurfaced Video From Around The Time She Filed Her Lawsuit Against BlockBerry Creative

Her members have always been her priority.

Fans of LOONA have been worried about the group for a long time as staff members continually spoke up about BlockBerry Creative‘s financial difficulties. On September 27, 2021, Korean media reported that BlockBerry Creative could not pay multiple external companies that worked with them, including hair and makeup stylists.

Then on March 29, 2022, Korean media reported that Chuu had filed a lawsuit against BlockBerry Creative to suspend her exclusive contract. Although BlockBerry Creative initially denied this report, the truth was exposed later that same year with Dispatch‘s detailed exposé about Chuu being kicked out of LOONA.

In that time, Yeojin, Chuu, and Haseul all spoke up about not having been paid since their debut.

To protest the treatment LOONA has been receiving from BlockBerry Creative, Orbits began a boycott of the company, not wanting to buy, stream, or otherwise support any content. Because of their love for LOONA, Orbits are prioritizing the members leaving BlockBerry Creative, not wanting them to suffer the mistreatment any longer.

Fortunately, four members of LOONA (Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry) have already been able to suspend their exclusive contracts with BlockBerry Creative.

However, fans are still incredibly worried about the remaining seven members (Haseul, Yeojin, Olivia Hye, Gowon, Vivi, and Hyunjin), especially since BlockBerry Creative announced that they were ending services with Fab, the private messaging service with which multiple members of LOONA have come forward to directly update fans about the reality of their situation.

While some of the members have been able to create solo Instagram accounts with which they can hopefully contact fans, including Hyunjin, who is still under BlockBerry Creative, fans are worried that this is an attempt by BlockBerry Creative to silence the remaining members still under contract.

But if one thing is for sure, it’s that all of the members still actively support each other. A recent video of Chuu, Hyunjin, Choerry, and Heejin has resurfaced as fans feel emotional over Chuu’s sincere words.

The clip is taken from Channel S‘s Who Am I, which focuses on MBTIs while talking about the life of the featured star. The episode featuring Chuu was released in December 2021, after reports of BlockBerry Creative’s financial situation surfaced and when, although it was unknown to the public at the time, Chuu filed her lawsuit against the company.

In the clip, Chuu gets emotional as she talks about her members, wanting to “stick together” for a long time.

… From now on I’d like to be closer [to myself], and with the members too. Let’s stick together for 100… 1,000 years.

Hyunjin, Choerry, and Heejin also look emotional at Chuu’s words, showing their love for her too, further showing how close and supportive the members are despite everything they’ve been through.

ORBITs are also emotional at Chuu’s sentiment since they also hope that the members will be able to continue to be together no matter what the future holds for the group.

And since this video is from over a year ago, fans are distraught over how much the members have had to endure, and truly wish them the best for the future.
