Netizens Question The Nature Of Min Hee Jin’s Relationship With NewJeans Members
ADOR’s CEO, Min Hee Jin, is currently facing a huge controversy. She and HYBE are engaged in a very public feud after she allegedly tried to usurp the management and separate her label from HYBE.
On April 25, KST, Min held an urgent press conference to address the situation and defend her position. But everything about the press meet got chaotic as she started revealing unexpected internal conflict of HYBE, claiming that she was betrayed by the company over the debut of NewJeans. She also spoke about how the members were suffering because of this controversy.

She took this opportunity to demonstrate how close her relationship with the members was, highlighting that they all tried to comfort her.
Hanni kept saying she wanted to come to where I am, and Haerin, who is usually quiet, even video-called me. She was going to text, but she called me to hear my voice because she couldn’t get the words out… Hyein cried for 20 minutes on the phone. She cried because I helped her when she had a hard time, but she could do nothing to help me. She even said she would turn on the Phoning app and explain the situation.

These statements, however, seem to have had a reverse effect on public opinion. Several netizens expressed their discomfort with this equation. They argued that it was not professional for someone to depend on their employees for emotional support, much less on employees who are all teenagers.
