Park Yoochun’s “Troublemaker” Ex-Fiancée Revealed To Have Given Birth While On The Run From Drug Investigation

On Christmas Eve, 2025 (KST), Namyang Dairy‘s heiress Hwang Hana—also known as the troublemaker ex-fiancée of former TVXQ member Park Yoochun—was arrested after evading her drug investigation for a year. According to the initial reports on her extradition, Hwang Hana voluntarily turned herself in. This prompted public curiosity over why she chose to do so after spending more than a year on the run.

The reason has since come to light: According to SBS News on December 26, Hwang Hana shared, at her warrant review hearing held the same day, that what ultimately led her back across the border was none other than the child she gave birth to in Cambodia.

It was also confirmed that her newborn baby and a man believed to be the child’s biological father accompanied her on her return to Korea.

I recently gave birth to a child in Cambodia. I decided to return to Korea so that I could properly take responsibility for raising my child.

With Hwang Hana now back in Korea, police plan to intensify their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged drug use, the source of the drugs, and whether she committed any additional illegal acts while overseas. However, she is reportedly denying all charges related to the July 2024 accusation that she administered methamphetamine to two acquaintances.

In 2019, Hwang Hana had already received a suspended sentence for methamphetamine use (and it was during this time that Park Yoochun, too, admitted to his methamphetamine use).

But after using drugs again during her probation period, Hwang Hana was sentenced in 2022 to one year and eight months in prison, which she later served and was released. After her release, the troubled heiress vowed that she would never touch drugs again. Now, with fresh drug allegations, her flight from authorities, and the revelation that she gave birth while in hiding, the public reaction remains cold and unforgiving.
