“Single’s Inferno” Producer Drops Possible Hint That Some Couples Are Still Together, And Here Are The Possible Candidates

Here’s the evidence for some of the couples!

At the end of 2021, Netflix chose to capitalize on the success of the Korean show Squid Game and released a series of shows on the platform, which gained attention from global audiences. In particular, one show that has received love is the reality dating series, called Single’s Inferno.

During the series, single and very attractive Koreans were all trying to find love on a secluded island.

After weeks of becoming more and more invested in the show, the finale finally aired, and it was definitely a must-watch with all of the couples going on their final dates, including steamy interactions between Oh Jin Taek and Kang So Yeon.

At the end of the final episode, the male contestants then had to pick the girl they wanted to couple up with, and it was their choice as to whether they left the island alone or together.

There was some joy as netizens saw Jin TaekSo Yeon pairings, Song Ji AHyeon JoongKim Jun SikAn Yea Won, and even Moon Se Hoon/ Shin Ji Yeon pair up together.

Of course, none of that mattered in the long run, as life is very different away from the confines of the island when the contestants have to go back to normal life. All netizens care about is whether any of the couples are still together now. It seems as if the show’s producers have spilled some of the tea.

They recently sat down in an interview where they spoke about the show and the process of finding the contestants and pitching to Netflix.

In particular, producer Kim Jae Won revealed that despite the show’s filming finishing six months ago, he is leaving it up to the contestants to reveal might be some relationships that lasted and many created from the reality series.

I don’t believe it’s right for us to discuss whether the couples are still dating or not. It’s been 6 months since we concluded filming so I’m sure they will individually update you all on their own channels. We decided to leave it up to them and their personal decisions

Although it didn’t explicitly say it, many assume that his lack of willingness to give any more details on the outcome of the relationships shows that there might be something each contestant wants to announce or share.

Of course, that was the gossip everyone wanted to hear. Yet, it also raises speculation about which couples could have survived the journey. There have already been some couples that have raised suspicions of netizens with evidence that they might be dating.

The first pair is Jin Taek and So Yeon, who seemed drawn to each other from the very first episode!

Recently, netizens have found evidence that proves that they must still be dating. From noticing that Jin Taek joined So Yon on a recent trip to Jeju…

To playing tennis on the same court and possibly together because of the outfits. It seems undeniable.

The next couple that had fans speculating was Yea Won and Hyun Seung, who hit it off on the island but disappointed fans after he continued pursuing Ji A.

Yet, they both went windsurfing (although it isn’t confirmed whether it was together), and someone noticed that a hand looked similar to Hyun Seung’s…

And they’ve both been liking each other’s posts.

Some even think there might be something between Ji Yeon and Hyeon Joong after he was seen liking several of her pictures.

Of course, there could be plenty of other couples that fans think would be perfectly suited together. Hopefully, as the producer said, the contestants will slowly start to reveal what happened after they all left the island.
