BLACKPINK Couldn’t Stop Crying After Debuting, And It Shows How Far They’ve Come
BLACKPINK may be one of the biggest groups on the planet right now, but they were also once rookies.
Their reaction to their debut stage shows their sincerity. After over half a decade of training, BLACKPINK debuted on August 14, 2016 in Inkigayo.
They performed “BOOMBAYAH” and “WHISTLE” to a live audience of BLINKs.
The moment they got off the stage after “BOOMBAYAH”…
…they couldn’t hold back their tears.
Rosé in particular, who is known as one of the softest members, was emotional right away.
The staff gave them tissues and congratulated them for finally debuting.
The members naturally gravitated towards each other and gave a big team hug.
The girls had notably difficult journeys to reaching their debut stage, such as relocating from foreign countries and learning Korean from scratch.
Now they have broken numerous records with “How You Like That” and are individually popular as well!
