“Single’s Inferno 2” Detective Viewers Suspect Lee Nadine May Be On This Side Of TikTok

It perfectly connects to her time in Inferno.

Single’s Inferno 2 boasted an incredible line-up of contestants, including “everyone’s favorite green flag” Kim Se Jun

YG Entertainment‘s subsidiary label KPlus model Park Se Jeong

Actress Lee So E

YouTuber Kim Jin Young

And beauty pageant contestants Choi Seo Eun (crowned Miss Korea in 2021), Lim Min Su (competed in Miss Korea in 2020), and Shin Seul Ki (The 90th Miss Chunhyang Pageant finalist).

But by far, the fan-favorite was Lee Nadine, a neuroscience major at Harvard.

Throughout the series, viewers were cheering Nadine on, hoping she’d get a happy ending.

Which while it was different than they initially hoped, viewers do believe Nadine achieved the best ending possible.

Fans loved Nadine’s sense of humor, stunning visuals, and undeniable intelligence throughout the show. And now some detective viewers of the show may have found yet another reason to love Nadine.

Although Single’s Inferno doesn’t allow the contestants to have access to their phones or similar devices, the contestants are allowed to bring other items to entertain themselves, like Choi Jong Woo‘s book (which he cleverly used) or Nadine’s Rubik’s Cube.

But in addition to her Rubik’s Cube and adorable Toothless plushie, Nadine also seemed to have brought some books with her to the island.

Upon closer inspection, fans believe one of the books might be Emily Henry‘s People We Meet on Vacation.

Detective viewers suspect that this might mean Nadine is on “BookTok” (as TikTok curates your feed based on your interests, this is the side of TikTok where avid readers give each other recommendations).

People We Meet on Vacation is definitely one of the more common recommendations on “BookTok.” The “spicy” novel’s plot follows the story of two characters who take a vacation to try and find romance (sound familiar?).

Poppy and Alex. Alex and Poppy. They have nothing in common. She’s a wild child; he wears khakis. She has insatiable wanderlust; he prefers to stay home with a book. And somehow, ever since a fateful car share home from college many years ago, they are the very best of friends. For most of the year they live far apart—she’s in New York City, and he’s in their small hometown—but every summer, for a decade, they have taken one glorious week of vacation together.

Until two years ago, when they ruined everything. They haven’t spoken since.

Poppy has everything she should want, but she’s stuck in a rut. When someone asks when she was last truly happy, she knows, without a doubt, it was on that ill-fated, final trip with Alex. And so, she decides to convince her best friend to take one more vacation together—lay everything on the table, make it all right. Miraculously, he agrees.

Now she has a week to fix everything. If only she can get around the one big truth that has always stood quietly in the middle of their seemingly perfect relationship. What could possibly go wrong?

Regardless of whether or not she discovered the book on TikTok, People We Meet on Vacation couldn’t be a more perfect read for Nadine’s time in Inferno.

Maybe in the future, Nadine can share some of her reading list with fans.
