BTS’s J-Hope Opens Up About What He Truly Thought Of His Lollapalooza Performance

He talked about the difficult journey.

BTS‘s J-Hope recently headlined Lollapalooza, showing off his incredible diversity as an artist and capturing not only the hearts of his fans, but even stunning locals with his performances.

As the first Korean artist to headline Lollapalooza, J-Hope admitted that he was incredibly nervous and worked diligently to prepare his showstopping set. But in an earlier interview with IU, J-Hope admitted that he was excited about the opportunity, looking forward to trying to get everyone’s reaction to his music.

Now that his successful performance is over, J-Hope shared his thoughts on Instagram, explaining that his performance will be an “unforgettable [moment].”

The idol explained that although his solo debut album, Jack In The Box, required a lot of hard work, Lollapalooza was “the most important [challenge].

Although J-Hope once again admitted that he was terrified of the upcoming performance, he gave his absolute all to preparing the stage.

Preparing an hour-long show with me front and center was just one dread-filled moment after another,

and I whipped myself forward as hard as I could, again and again, to practice for the show.

But in that challenging process, J-Hope learned a lot about who he is as an artist.

Most of all, preparing every detail with so much attention and care made me learn along the way about who I really am.

Especially because of how arduous of a journey Lollapalooza was, J-Hope plans on treasuring the moment, realizing his talent and success.
