In light of former AOA member, Kwon Mina‘s lengthy posts on Instagram detailing how she was bullied by her fellow member, Jimin as well as her attempts to inflict self-harm upon herself, another fellow member, Youkyung posted an ambiguous message on her Instagram account.

The photo that she posted shows a woman drinking behind the caption,

When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is give up on today.

– Youkyung

And the message that accompanies the photo reads as follows:

To be honest, back then, you all looked the same to me. I can’t forget the eyes of the bystanders.

I wanna kill the pain I feel inside. But I won’t quit for the people I love. So I’ll say I’m fine until the day I fucking see the light.

Just like the song lyric I heard yesterday, I think everyone needs to overcome this.

– Youkyung

On the same day, Mina explained the reason behind why she left the group and how she suffered in the hands of a fellow member, who was perceived to be Jimin. And not long afterward, Jimin refuted the accusations by referring to the posts as “fiction.”

In the midst of the online dispute, Youkyung shared her own post which many are perceiving to target both Mina and Jimin.

AOA debuted back in 2012, and Youkyung withdrew from the group in 2016 while Mina withdrew just last year.
