What’s Coming In 2020? All These Male Idols Being Discharged From The Military

We can’t wait to welcome them back!

The New Year is right around the corner and everyone is excited for new beginnings. But in case the dawn of 2020 hasn’t felt quite exciting enough for you yet, we have put together this list. Each month, there is something to celebrate: That is, our dearly beloved K-Pop idols being discharged from their military duties! Here are all the male idols to be returned to us in the next twelve months.

1. January 2020

INFINITE‘s Sunggyu will be the first of his group to be discharged from the military on January 8, 2020! He enlisted in May 2018 after surprising the fans with the announcement at his solo concert.

2. February 2020

On February 28, 2020, 2PM‘s Wooyoung will be discharged. Will he come back a total beast like his fellow teammate Taecyeon did? Only time will tell.

3. March 2020

We cannot wait to get Jo Kwon back from the military on Mach 24, 2020 — especially because his transformation in the army left us kind of thirsty for more.

4. April 2020

On April 7, 2020, BTOB‘s main beagle Eunkwang will be discharged. His hiatus was emotional for both BTOB members and fans. So April is going to be one fine spring month!

HIGHLIGHT‘s Doojoon will also be discharged in April, on April 10, 2020 to be exact. Though he assured fans he is excelling at his military life — fans still can’t wait to have him back.

5. July 2020

SHINee‘s Onew was the first to enlist from his group and he will be discharged on July 20, 2020. EXO-Ls celebrate alongside Shawols, as Onew is said to have helped EXO‘s Xiumin get settled in the army.

6. August 2020

August is going to be a really good month, with two idols being discharged. First is BTOB‘s Changsub, scheduled for release on August 21, 2020. Melodies are ready for his vocals!

Then, on August 30, 2020, HIGHLIGHT‘s Yoseob will be discharged. Yoseob has been spotted on the streets of Seoul serving his duty, but fans want to him back on stage.

7. September 2020

BTOB‘s Minhyuk will be discharged September 12, 2020. Melodies can’t wait — especially because he had left them hanging on a rather sexy note prior to enlistment.

8. October 2020

October 2020 will be so, so blissful with four discharges happening. On October 7, 2020, the land of K-Pop will celebrate the return of both SHINee‘s Key and VIXX‘s N. These two boasted their musical talent even in the military — and fans want in on whatever they have planned for the fans.

On October 22, 2020, Block B‘s Jaehyo will be discharged. Though the military experience hasn’t been too easy on him, fans will be thrilled to see Jaehyo back safe and sound.

On October 27, 2020, INFINITE‘s Sungyeol will be discharged. He remained the king of “fan service” even in the military — which became all the more reason for fans to eagerly count down!

9. November 2020

November 2020 has not one, not two, but three idols being returned to the stage where they belong! In fact, on November 15, 2020, two of the three idols will be discharged as per the schedule — SHINee‘s Minho and INFINITE‘s Dongwoo.

HIGHLIGHT‘s Kikwang will be discharged November 18, 2020. Since his enlistment in April 2020, he has maintained his military life low key. Fans can’t wait to hear from him soon!

10. December 2020

By December of 2020, EXO will have their first official military-duty-completed member ever! On December 6, 2020, Xiumin will be discharged — and fans won’t have to wonder about what he’s eating in the camp anymore…!

Then, on December 8, 2020, HIGHLIGHT‘s Dongwoon will be discharged — and this comes to mean that all of HIGHLIGHT’s members would have completed their military duties by then. They will reunite as a team and hopefully bless fans with new music by 2021.

And finally, as the last idol to be discharged in the year 2020, former Wanna One member Yoon Ji Sung will be returned to the land of K-Pop on December 13, 2020. Fans can’t wait, as he will most likely begin promoting in 2021 as an unrivaled solo artist!
